Will probably be good for the FTSE 100 with all the overseas companies within it, but for the rest of us, will no doubt see price rises on anything imported very soon the way things are going.
Although why this couldn't be posted in the Brexit Thread I do not know?

Affect basically means to influence.

Many of the companies in the 100 are effectively being valued in dollars and priced in pounds, so a drop in the pound against the dollar should result in an increase in its price, if it's perceived dollar value has remained the same.
Indeed, which is why you should say "Let's see what effect the UK Markets opening has." You are seeing what the result of opening the UK Markets is.
If you're going to try and patronise dazzer, it would help if you weren't wrong.
