I, like many I suspect, left Deepdale today feeling despondent.
Particularly with that 45 minute walk to the station and then
the journey back to London. I've had a bad hangover all day
to boot.
But then I thought - how many times this season (and last) have I left an away ground
feeling on top of the world after a magical performance? Answer: loads -
Yes -it wasn't our best day - and Preston deserved the win, but I look to
the match on Friday; we move on.
btw - I hope I don't have to go back to Preston - nice people - but what
a sh*thole.
