Any Brighton Bloggers out there?

've noticed at Brentford that since we have been more succesful on the pitch and our fanbase has grown, our support has also become a lot more diverse.

I think the diversity has bred fragmentation to a degree, and that is part of the reason why my club is struggling to hear fans opinions and concerns - because we can't agree on them.

I am curious to know - it must be the same for all clubs across the country as commercialism takes over the game. Is it like this at Brighton?

Anyway, I have my brainwave. I set up thesupporters.co.uk. The idea is that with an independent, unified platform, fans could take back an element of control. Not an easy task but I like a challenge

Basically each member (free to join) gets to contribute blog posts to their own club's microsite - for example @ 'brighton.thesupporters.co.uk'.

It means all fans can have a voice, not just the ones that have the time or money to set up and promote their own blog or get involved with a supporter's association.

NSC seems to do a great job in allowing fans to express their opinion, with 'The Club Line' looking like a pretty decent and structured way of getting your voices heard. But if anyone wants to go a step beyond posting on here and set up their own free blog, promoted via social media, then let me know.

PS. There's nothing in it for me - I'm funding it all on my own atm because I don't like the direction my own club is going.

Thanks!
