I've set the alarm for 7am for them to wake up if they aren't awake before hand.

My daughter's 18 now, she was out on the lash last night in town. Christ knows what time she got in. However, i was up at 5am as usual....i really felt like waking her up so i can open my pressies. Payback time for the past 17 years.

My 6-y-o has yet to rise.

He doesn't seem to have the in-built "Santa's been" alarm that kids are supposed to have.

We all awoke at 0730am,well mum did,we have opened 1 prezzie each as it's ***it's mums years this year so we all have to wait until after dinner & washing up (probably about 330pm) to open the other presents..

It's dad (that's me) and daughters year next year so will be opening the presents first thing.

No kids in this house, although we had to set the alarm for 7.00 to speak to the grandson in Australia. He was off to bed, extremely overtired and grumpy.

Merry Christmas one and all:xmas:

Stop the clock: 8-24.

Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.

Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message He Is Dead,
Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves,
Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.

He was my North, my South, my East and West,
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last for ever: I was wrong.

The stars are not wanted now: put out every one;
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun;
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood.
For nothing now can ever come to any good.
