Currently the BBC are predicting 13 degrees and cloudy, for the bulk of the country.

Christmas day ALWAYS seems to be really mild. It's really annoying as the fridge is full and it would be good to be able to stick the wine/beer outside to chill. Then it goes cold for new year. Same almost every year.

It hasn't gone cold in the new year for decades

Before some bright spark gets clever SB means in the Brighton & Hove area, it definitely doesn't feel like Christmas
No he doesn't!

I initially meant my house in Better Sussex.
Then realising that might be a little niche I looked at the whole country.
Sure enough those temperatures are representative not only in Great Britain but also or near neighbours in Belfast, Scotchland and Yorkshire.
