I'm wracking my brain to think when we last scored a goal so close to the final whistle. From when Birmingham kicked off after Murray's last gasper to the ref blowing for time couldn't have been more than 11 seconds. Phew!

2 goals from Eric Potts , super sub in those days . It was the season we just missed out on promotion to the old division 1 ,

It's a minimum of 4 minutes added time. Now, if Birmingham hadn't made a substitution, then the ref wouldn't have gone over the 4.
That doesn't make sense. The ref wouldn't go over 4 is there were no subs and it was a maximum of 4 minutes. With it being a minimum, the ref could go over 4 regardless of anything else in the 4 minutes.
