Just found this article from The Independent which was published on our Day of Judgement in 1996. Interesting to get from a neutral perspective.

Just noticed that although published in The Independent the writer of the article, Greg Wood is actually a Brighton supporter. I wonder if he's an NSC contributor? Another thing that struck me was the fact that this article was written over 20 years ago but it was only 13 years after our FA Cup Final appearance. In the scheme of things it was quite a rapid fall from grace, the recovery from which took even longer.
