Perpetual motion?

I'm not ****ing with you symyjym. Gravity doesn't create potential energy. If you see a weight sitting on the floor, it doesn't have any potential energy and earths gravity won't create it. You can create it by lifting the weight, but the gravity hasn't done anything, you have.

Is it a lump of coal or a man made weight? Perhaps a rock,that has solar energy in it......

what the chap has invented is a delightfully eloborate, and no doubt extremely efficient, toy. where does the energy come from? magnetism, and a lot of carefully balanced components that dont consume much energy.

what it wont do, as with so many claims at perpetual motion, is either scale or do any useful work. as soon as you apply some sort of mechanism to capture the energy of the moving ball, energy will be extracted, the ball will slow and the toy will stop.

re gravity and energy potential, its a one way potential, once used you have to input energy to reset the engery potential.

Well it's all relative, what if the weight doesn't move but the frame of reference is the centre of the planet and not the floor?
The floor is just where the weight is, it still won't move or do anything.

It doesn't break the first law of thermodynamics.

That ball creates sound and heat, and it's claimed that it's perpetual motion. Looks like the rule has been broken to me.

The enviroment of the universe enables gravity and the universe came from energy, just like the spin of the earth enables a magnitism process.

If you are saying this is a hoax then it may or not be, but at this point we are discussing gravity.
