If you buy artificial rather than real, you might think twice after watching the rather funny 'Jackpot' movie (iPlayer).

Had the same one now for many, many years.

Place north of Lindfield, many varieties all grown on site, can even cut your own, and not too expensive. Perfect day to take one home in a convertible, which is what I did last year.

To be honest the best one we've had lately was from b and q. Have temporarily gone plastic for money / baby reasons. Got a cracker from amazon for about a quarter of the price than in the shops.

Want a real one.

Always used to go to Spithandle Nursery (near Weston) but it's got really expensive and the owner talks to you like you're dirt on his shoe.

Not keen on buying from a lay by or B&Q.

Where would you go?

I hear Norway does some big ones:moo:
Failing that LamieRobertson chops down trees for a living :hilton:

On the pavement outside the offie halfway down Preston Drove has a couple of geezers selling Xmas Trees who seem to be doing a roaring trade :xmas:

Top recommendation. Just been. Great tree, great friendly staff and not too expensive. Great choice too.

To boot, discovered the Amex shop was open so picked up a load of stuff I forgot to pick up Friday evening.

Well worth the drive from Shoreham.

Are they doing breakfast on Christmas Day morning ?

Almost certainly not. Tho Mr Shah's will almost certainly be open from his traditional Christmas Day 9am til 2pm. And there will most certainly be a cricket match played on the cricket pitch(es) enclosed by the Preston Park velodrome. Them's the Yule rules :xmas:
