Indeed , in this sort of case you are probably safer being near the Amex than you would than most of places...

i remember being in the car right behind the bus as this was happening. Stewards and medical staff there in seconds. Brilliant work

Watched this earlier. Great story, with a couple of nice Alan Partridesque moments.

So much respect for all these people, and good to see the gent who survived. 16 minutes!!

If memory serves, the nurse is a 'he'.

Might be my hearing though....

I was on the bus and can confirm that the nurse was a 'he'. I can also confirm that he was a hero....along with all the other people that then arrived to provide medical assistance. So pleased to see that the chap has made a great recovery.

This is a fantastic story, i would have thought 16 mins would have been too long.

Well done to all those involved.

On a side note do Nurse, doctors, paramedics and members of the public walk away punching the air and saying back of the net!

Must be a bit of a buzz.

Yep I was sat in front of Mr Stubbs.

He certainly looks a lot better in than video, than when I last saw him.

Having given it a moments thought.
If there was an identity parade to pick out the hero nurse, I'd be choosing the fella who looks most like Bob 'Bulldog' Briscoe:-
