The facts that they are shit and certs for relegation may have something to do with his decision.
I saw the highlights of their match on Saturday v Leeds. Rotherham had no luck whatsoever and are certainly not as bad as their position suggests. It must be a long old season for their fans.

So he was in a no lose situation. I would hazard a guess that he has said what players he needs in January and been told there are no funds available.
Pretty much this and there's **** all he can do about it. Can't bring in loans and probably realizes what an awfull squad he has to work with
