Streaky win over Charlton showed that all might not be right as the squad was stretched to breaking point. Goals dried up v Boro and we didn't score until 16th Jan (against Blackburn).

Table so far has been very similar to last season. Stronger squad this year so interesting to see how table comparison looks by mid-Jan this season.

The main difference is that we haven't got,and hopefully won't have,six first team players out with medium as o long term injuries

3 points from 21 before Zamora's early winner at Blackburn was where it all went wrong last season.
