When was the last time we conceded from Open Play?

Yes the run of clean sheets has come to an end, but apart from a couple of dodgy set pieces, the defence is still doing a brilliant job, was it Sheffield Wednesday away when we last conceded from open play? Or actually was it Preston at home?

Didn't Preston's second come from a free kick?
Pretty sure it was just a long hopeful ball into the box in open play. Could be wrong though.

Sort of. Free kick played square and then it was open play.

We have now conceded four long range headers this season if you count the one this afternoon. Hardly any in the 50 seasons before.

For rightly or wrongly Stockdale makes the least saves of any Championship keeper in the penalty area out of the 6 yard box , the only keeper at less than one save of this type a match.

Hardly any in 50 seasons - now there's a memory :lolol:

hell of a stat as well if today's counts as a long-range header ;)
