At school when this came out my friends were always smirking when the line 'toss me a cigarette' came up, I was the last one to know what 'toss' meant. A great song though.

very much both of these. I heard the Boxer in the car the other day, not having heard it for years, and sang along word-perfect. But Diamonds is probably my favourite ever Paul Simon song and track.

I like a lot of his songs. My most played three are Bleecker Street, How can you like in the Northeast and Kodachrome.

I'm not sure the early songs and performances with Garfunkel were ever bettered - but even the most recent albums have lots of decent songs on them.

Funnily enough, just took out a couple of his cd's to load on my cocktail. I also like Late in the Evening. Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard and seasonally appropriately I like Gettin' Ready for Christmas Day. Mind you, I might add Graceland, 50 Ways to Leave your Lover or - 0h dear, just too many to choose from!
