Paul Trollope: Sacked as Cardiff manager earlier this season
Brighton have appointed Paul Trollope as their new assistant manager.
The former Cardiff boss replaces Colin Calderwood as Chris Hughton's number two after the Scot quit to join Aston Villa last week.
Trollope, 44, previously worked with Seagulls manager Hughton at Birmingham and Norwich.
Hughton said: "I'm delighted to be working with Paul again.
"He's an excellent coach, and since his time with me he's gone on to gain great experience at international level with Wales and in club management with Cardiff City."
