Does anyone know of a good carpenter? I must have contacted 15-20 people on Checkatrade in the last week and not one of them has responded.

Looking to get a window seat, TV unit and computer desk unit built.

Not a fan but I heard good things. Availability might be a problem though. Doesn't need a constant supply of biscuits on the plus side.

I know one but it's a secret, I'll never tell, my lips are sealed tighter than Karen Carpenter's biscuit tin.



I'm proud of myself for feeling quite bad about writing that.
Sadly enlightenment is still a little way off, as I'm chuckling as well.

What - too soon? That means I can't do the only wood that doesn't float line as well. All of my jokes are old. Try telling the one about going to a wife swapping party where you all put your car keys in pot and I ended up with an AA box. Blank faces all round.
