Somewhere over there...
BBC Gossip page had this this morning;

United States coach Jurgen Klinsmann is "1,000% sure" his side will reach the 2018 World Cup, despite losing their opening two qualifiers. (Reuters via Guardian)

Can't believe people wanted him after Hodgson resigned.

Better than Southgate! And put Germany on the right track 10 years ago. Please can we somehow not have Southgate?
No, no he isn't. Klinsmann is about as popular as rabies in the US because he's arrogant and seemingly clueless.

I don't want Southgate but don't see Klinsmann as an upgrade on him.

Klinsmann couldn't win a stitch with Bayern Munich. He would be a disaster. Whilst Southgate is about as inspiring as a motivational video spoken by Jeremy Corbyn, If Klinsmann is the answer the question must be 'How do we not finish 1st in our world cup qualifying group?

Some harsh comments here. He took the USA to another level and within a whisker of a WC quarter final in Brazil, 5 and a half years and 98 matches is a damned good innings as an international manager.

Remarkable use of stats for a manager than - prior to his last two matches - had won 13, drawn 2 and lost 4 of the previous 19 games.

Of the 4 defeats, 3 of them were to the No. 1 and No. 5 sides in the FIFA rankings (Argentina and Colombia).

But the only quality wins were against Ecuador twice and Iceland before the Euros. In all only the thing I liked about Klinsman was he wanted to play more fixtures versus highly ranked FIFA teams.
