Biggest gate of the season expected for the visit of Aston Villa. Away allocation seems to have been sold out but there are still some home seats available. Only home supporters with a previous purchase history can buy. Category B game on TV.

If Villa fail to win, it pretty much blows their chance of automatic promotion (based on past records). Still could make the play-offs though.
Crowd vs Villa has been fractious in at least one previous meeting in the past, long time ago (before segregation).

Could someone post a video of highlights of the FA Cup games from a few years back? Great day that was.

The bizarre irony of Tommy Elphick now captaining the team he scored against that day.

STEVE BRUCE has recently taken over from Roberto Di Matteo, following a disappointing start to the campaign. His overall record is good at numerous clubs and he took Hull into the Premiership last term via play-offs.
He said, +the tradition and history here is remarkable. When you are involved on a day to day basis, you cannot help but notice it. FA Cups, league titles, a European Cup, they are all on show. It is my aim to produce a team to bring those back+

Waits for separate thread about nasty, marauding hordes from the Midlands upsetting the genteel folk from the south east.......

Looking forward to this one, a chance to really put our marker down for the season and a full house under the lights.
