One of our neighbours who's grandad, a WW2 veteran, who was burgled some time ago by some callous *******s, stealing his life savings, has sadly passed away.
A massive effort by the local community raised thousands of pounds in response to his plight.
Thought I'd post this, just as a reminder, as already mentioned gracefully in other threads, of the sacrifices given.
