Bloody love 'em.
Problem I've got is roasting them so they peel easily.
I find the shell comes off ok but I'm forever picking the furry bit off the actual nut.
I've tried soaking them, scoring the shell and roasting but still struggling.

Anyone on here have a sure fire way of preparing this delicious morsel?

You are not roasting them long enough cut a cross onto each put under the grill on a low heat they always take longer than you think the top needs to look burnt it's not as the skin will protect the nut inside

When you take them out, wrap them up in a tea towel for 5 minutes - definitely helps. Steam I presume.

We used to wrap them in kitchen foil and chuck them in the bonfire.Perfectly edible when you unwrap them,if you've got any teeth left!
