Any one recall the fixture at Old Trafford during our top tier years when Moseley had a stand up fight with his own defender. Punches were thrown.
I believe you're right. Had to be dismantled but can't remember when or even when the new North Stand cover was put in place.

The north roof was deemed unsafe, I think, please correct me, we went about two seasons without one and they built a new one, cantilever style. Oh the memories.

It was my 24th birthday.I was stood in line with the Ward goal and vividly remember the North Stand exploding into raptures at the triumphant return of the Messiah ... memories indeed

The roof came down in 1980 and the new one opened in 1985.
