What price our team spirit?

Albion team spirit is patently at it's very highest level since the double championes Withdean era. We saw then how far team spirit took us. We're seeing it again now. What price our team spirit? It's priceless! And it's one in the eye to our big-spending rivals. They'll implode long before we do. :albion:

Team spirit translates into working extra hard for your teammates, and in this division that is key.

When we strengthen in the window what we don't want is a Tino Asprilla on our hands. We have to bring in players who "get" where this club are at.

This BC fan didnt agree about the celebration/tribute - comment from The Guardian report:

The 'tribute' to Knockaert was so false and dripping with insincerity it was actually sickening to watch. It was choreographed because the game was live on the telly and wouldn't have happened if the game had kicked off at 3pm. If the Brighton players had any intelligence they'd be ashamed of exploiting a family tragedy in the way they did.

Which completely misses the point. It was because it was on television that they knew that Knockaert would see it and realise that the team were thinking of him even during a vital game.

Most fans on the bc forum commented on how good and classy we were. There will always be bellends being cynical about anything in all walks of life. probably sour grapes though

Or a Palace fan...

An important factor is Bloom's refusal to sell our best players. That sends out a signal from the top of intent and determintion.

The booing of Pritchard by the fans reinforces this idea that short term financial gain is, ultimately, folly.

That in spades. It was easy to cash in last season but we didnt. Thankfully.

Just over 40 years ive been going, good players come and go as do good and bad teams and management, I cant remember however a time when the team spirit of this club was like this. It’s a camaraderie amongst the players, the club and fans that must be the envy of others.
Somehow we have tapped into something that is priceless. The message was very clear after the Poyet debacle…..no one man is bigger than BHAFC.
Long may it continue.
