Nope - just right

The Amex is good as it is.
I guess there is a possibility of extra seating that can put in at a later date.
But we do not want to be one of those clubs that are seen to be bigger than they actually are.
(Cough Cough) Leeds (Cough Cough)

Let's do what Barber would do and flip this problem around and look at it from the other end of the tube.

Is the Amex too small or are the people are too BIG?

Trolling again, Rev?

No.

For all bar 4 or 5 fixtures if we made it to top flight, with all available seats actually offered for sale and a functional season ticket exchange that the club educate season ticket holders about, it is just right.

A ST exchange could actually double the amount of tickets available for match by match purchase than would otherwise be available.

Yes but not massively so. Man Utd etc at home we could sell 40k even without increasing the away allocation. Is it worth the aggro for another 9k or so. No idea without more detail as to what's involved but I've always thought that the NS is too small for a teams 'end'. The railway line would no doubt come into play if they were to try and increase it's capacity but it would be fantastic to see a 10k type stand behind that goal...

Still Somewhere in Sussex!
Saturday's gate of 29,469 was bigger than Watford v Hull, West Brom v Man City, C****** P***** v Liverpool, and Stoke v Swansea this week.
So I think a capacity of 31,000 seems pretty spot on, and with everything else about the club, including the training facility, we're "Premiership" ready! :albion2:

Humouring the Rev for a minute - the 'magic' of playing the likes of Stoke, Burnley, Sunderland, Boro, Hull, Watford, West Brom, Swansea, Leicester would wear off very quickly if we got there and then managed to stay there for more than a season and we'd be left with more empty seats than there are specks of blood on HB&B's Jason Vorheez Halloween mask.

Brighton factually.....
Nope

We would fill it week in week out, in the premiership nothing worse than vast swathes of empty seats on tv against the likes of WBA or Burnley.

Anyway once we reach the promised land, match day ticket sales will be practically irrelevant.
