It’s 29 years since the Smiths split up

F U C K that makes me feel old

Standing in the way of control
Great interview with Johnny Marr:

I wasn't previously aware that The Smiths almost reformed in 2008. Well I Wonder if it will ever happen*?

*presumably a new drummer will be needed, as I can't imagine Morrissey will ever forgive Mike Joyce for the court case.

The fourth photo in that article, of him and Angie during the 70s, fills me with joy. The tour he did a couple of years ago, when he seemed to really enjoy playing lots of Smiths stuff, will do for me. Can't imagine spending £80 to see Morrissey desperately trying to be provocative if they ever reform, the grumpy old fart.
