I reckon it will be at least Tuesday before certain posters on here (who never go to games) start their pathetic moaning and whining again :clap::clap:

It should have been six. But as usual we went all defensive.

I've got a moan. Some numptie in our pub betting syndicate decided to put our match in the both teams to score bet yesterday. I actually wanted Norwich to score after we'd got to 4. Bloody defenders

Not a moan, just a genuine question. Suppose we had the same number of points, and the same GD, but had achieved it by beating Brentford 5-0, but losing 2-0 yesterday. How much lower would the level of euphoria be?

The difference is that we were sorting ourselves out then. Duffy was new and was getting to know the rest of the defence. Also, Norwich would have three more points and only be a point behind us (and much closer on goal difference).

Yes, I know we were still sorting ourselves out then - I'm just wondering what the level of euphoria (if any) there would be if we had beaten them and lost yesterday.

Reckon at half-time yesterday most would have assumed we'd try to shut up shop, narrowly fail, and go away happy with a 1-1 draw. Learning experience for CH that maybe the best form of defence is attack?

A lot different. It wasn't just that we smashed Norwich, but everyone expects them to be in the mix at the end of the season, so as Hughton said on telly, it wasn't just a win, it was 3 points that one of our promotion rivals didn't get, and 5 off their GD
