QPR look dreadful. Just goes to show that parachute payments and a flair manager are no guarantees of success.

Maybe Bloom should be looking to SING Hogan in January

And the fact is that Brentford will ALWAYS sell for the right price, anything above what the market values him at gets it. We may need to pay something similar to what we were offering for Pritchard, but we'd get him. And he's going to score goals for the sake of it in our current team. He is quick, strong and can finish.

I've been surprised at just how solid Brentford are. I thought their play-off place a couple of seasons back would be a flash in the pan especially with Warburton going and their mad chairman wanting to choose the players but they've proved me wrong. Fair play if they can maintain this.

I'd forgotten about Josh Clarke. A very talented youngster who was on loan at Barnet last season. Scored a few goals and tonight he was 20/1 for first goal with Corals. Gutted I didn't put some money on him as he likes to get forward from central midfield. Won't be as big odds like that ever again.

I have a Brentford supporting friend at work who holds a season ticket and they seem to have a very high regard for him. He won't come cheap. I suspect we'd have to pay Andre Gray money to prise him away and it's hard to see us stumping up the cash for that.

The Brentford chairman and Tony Bloom fell out a few years ago, so I'm sure they'd put a premium on top just for Brighton.
