Arrived back into Three Bridges after catching the 8.40 train back from St Pancras. In a jolly mood after our 1-0 win in TBH not a great display, but is it not the sign of a good team that wins when not playing well?
Anyway heading back to pound hill shops direction to collect my car and was met (just the other side of the road under the bridge) by the sight of three fire engines, various police cars, ambulances and recovery vehicles. One car was still in the middle of the road with the emergency services trying to get somebody out of the mangled passengers side of the car (roof of the car been cut off). The vehicle that had hit it side on had an Engine that was about half its normal size (god knows how fast it must have been traveling).
Put into perspective that football is just a game, get on and enjoy your life and make the most of it! whole thing left me feeling pretty sick, just hope all survive.
