It is scary to think that if Southgate gets the England job permanently (scary thought in itself), Boothroyd could potentially be a future caretaker manager of the Main squad. (If Boothroyd gets the u21 jobs permanently that is)

Have to admit that there's a certain logic in having that continuity in both people and style of football in having a manager progress up the age groups with the players at international level. TBF Boothroyds results with the u20's hasn't exactly been bad either. Win ratio of 61.5% with 8 wins and 2 draws in 13 games. Still wouldn't want him anywhere near our club though.
