You can't just do a minimalist post like that. You should go into details about the situation so that amateur lawyers (me included) can post our opinions on what to do.

On the assumption you're after a solicitor then I highly recommend Fiona Martin of Martin Searle solicitors.

If it's to do with employment you're best seeking advice from your union rep.

I'd trust a solicitor over a union rep any day of the week.

As would I but if in the unlikely event that they are a member of a union then they may be entitled to free legal advice.

Can you narrow down the area of the law at all, as it will affect the recommendations. eg, are you just after a decent solicitor for basic advice, or do you need a specialist in divorce law, employment, property, etc etc?

Its about a dispute regarding a contract for services. Commercial contract Lawyer would be the kind of thing I am looking for.

Don't put anything in detail on your message. Just a general outline and I will let you know if my firm can help. I can't give any advice on Public Forums either without going through ML Regulations but if my firm covers such things as you require I might be able to point you in that direction.
