First three up are

Man U
Liverpool
Arsenal

4th and 5th are, wait for it,

Preston and Wolves.

It's a good site isn't it.

We've played two less games than Spurs and have 180 fewer points - ouch!


..But a 100 fewer games than Crewe and 400 more points.

Though if you run the table according to the percentage column we leap up from 42nd to 22nd - not too shabby!

We are the highest placed South Coast Club. That surprises me. Above Bournemouth, Southampton and Portsmouth

Not enough weight given to which division the points were won in. There is a more accurate table somewhere based on league position over the years - I think we're about 44 on that.

Yes. When I look at these stats it seems to be that we are the most average of all teams over the course of football league history.
