Putting aside your statements from back in the early days of this thread, which were along the lines of a Norway type deal being a remainers brexit, or why should the losers decide how we do it etc.
No, that is a false premise.
The EU is saying that the withdrawal agreement is the only withdrawal agreement it can agree to that respects the UK's "red lines", and it's Single Market and Customs Union rules (the ones we helped create as members). The PM that decided those red lines for us is gone, Johnson is free to negotiate a different deal, if he has different red lines, if he isn't changing any of Mays red lines, then obviously there is not anything to negotiate, the situation is the same.
I absolutely accept that there is no majority for the withdrawal agreement, what I do not accept is that this means no deal is the way forward, there is no majority in the HoC for No Deal either
The EU does not have to accept what UK parliament has a majority for, anymore than we have to accept that because the EU 27 have unanimously agreed to the withdrawal agreement, we should do the deal.

It was deemed that to do so would, wait for it, push us into a recession, so only a Billion quid was reassigned initially, up to £9 Billion this year on Brexit related capital expenditure though.

Looks like the new Chancellor is lining up for a tax give-away. Another sign of a quick election? Made me chuckle when he described himself as a 'low tax guy'. Presumably this relates to personal propensity for avoiding paying them?

This will be great for all those old Gammons that voted leave for their Grandkids futures. On top of losing them some freedoms, to make Brexit more palatable, we will be ramping up debt to be paid back by them over the whole of their working lives. I am really pissed off about this aspect, no magic money tree, unless we need one to make it look like there is more money around after Brexit, absolute *****.

Do you know that Brexit polls never ask anyone in Gibraltar? That's because it is 96% Remain. It is easy to rig polls by asking the right demographic.
