But I thought firms were pulling out left, right and centre over the threat of Brexit.

Also, our economy was crashing....due to Brexit. Not EXACTLY the case is it?

People buy from Rolls Royce, JCB because of the quality. Being in the EU has nothing to do with it.

Very selective and very self-serving. Of course, if you look at the whole picture of U.K. manufacturing you will see “UK manufacturing hit by its worst slump in two and a half years”.

And the biggest item in your list can be written off as JLR had previously announced “ it is cutting 4,500 jobs, with the substantial majority coming from its 40,000 strong UK workforce.”

There will always be some 'good news' narratives - and we should openly celebrate them.
What I really do not get is how desperately the Leave campaigners cling on to each story as evidence that all is well and we will thrive after Brexit when we haven't even left the EU yet!
I have convincing anecdotal evidence from several people that they have been made redundant as a result of the Brexit uncertainty.
Unaffected and indifferent 'blue sky' Leavers on here would struggle to reassure them.

In general terms, yes it is.
Country is losing 800 million a WEEK because of Brexit uncertainties, im sure the list will make all the difference

I have every sympathy for anyone facing such an ordeal. William Hill employees for example, which has nothing to do with Brexit and, more close to home, my wife currently enduring a similar process. Again, hers is nothing to do with Brexit.

Inward investment in the U.K. shows a year on year decline since 2016. We are currently below the European average. Pointing out some sporadic investment into the U.K. is akin to pointing out that someone who’s fallen off a 15 storey building managed to avoid breaking his right ankle.

Labour leaders going on again about a 2nd referendum but as yet nobody has shown a reasonable justifiable reason why there should be a 2nd one other than the fact the MPs dont want to sign off the wishes of their constituents and the country in general.

Do you have sympathy for people who are threatened with redundancy that is caused by Brexit uncertainty though, or do you think they just don't believe in England enough?
