A sensational result if that came off. Remainers claimed the local council elections were some sort of vindication for their viewpoint, this would kick that firmly into touch. The EU parliament would be a nightmare as well, we'd have imported the brexit poison.

Not just the owners. A least one CP fan (and ex youth player) was part of the laughing bonfire party, which torched a Grenfell Tower effigy.

Indeed the Lib Dems claimed every local council vote for them was a specific endorsement of their Brexit stance which was utter bollox. Many Remain groups also said this European election could be a proxy second referendum but couldn't even organise a unified remain ticket. I note CHUK can't even organise a candidate for the Peterborough by-election but they all think they can run a successful second referendum campaign! If the Brexit party do as well as predicted it will be interesting to see all the spin.
But have you decided what Leave option will suit all the Brexit supporters yet Bringer of Truth? Isn't the 'Nige' Brexit itself a convenient oversimplification?

If the Brexit party get 34% of the vote in a proxy refurendum that will show that 66% of the electorate don't want a no deal Brexit.
No spin, simple fact.
If the Brexit party secure more than 50% of the vote no deal should be taken more seriously.
What the 66% majority want will have to de decided.

Wishful thinking. You can't possibly know that. Suppose we look at it another way. If 14 percent vote for the liberals, ten percent for the greens, and maybe 4 percent for change, then we can surmise that only 28 percent of voters want to stay in the EU.
