Scottish FA


Disciplinary Rule 31: In that between 1st July and 15th September 2016, both dates inclusive, you placed 44 bets upon football matches, and accordingly gambled upon football matches in contravention of Disciplinary Rule 31.

Principal hearing date: Thursday, 27th October 2016

Mr Barton has until Wednesday, 12th October to respond to the complaint.

Joey will graciously admit the charges and claim he has a gambling problem.

He will be "snapped" entering rehab.

He will then talk EXCLUSIVELY to Talksport, probably Alan Brazil, where he pours his heart out and says its a struggle he's had for years.

He will say he's a changed man and people shouldn't judge him on his past mistakes

Special co-presenters Harry Redknapp, Sam Allardyce and Ray Wilkins will all agree the ban was harsh and that Joey was brave to come through such an ordeal. Harry will argue the ban was unfair as "a little bet hurt nobody".

Joey will look solemn in his double page spread in the Sun.

Joey will do something else wrong and the pattern will repeat.

I know it's the rules so he deserves what ever they throw at him, however I Personally don't see the issue if it was a different countries league.
