Have you tried driving north on a Friday.? Not the most stress free way to travel.

They leave about noon when it is ok but easier and less stressful flying than a 4 hour coach journey but more important is the journey home especially if you have a midweek game.

Anyone that can do Sheffield in four hours on a Friday is doing very well.
Not a cat in hell's chance of completing a Lancing to Sheffield coach journey, on a Friday afternoon, in FOUR hours.

Shows when I last did the journey but 4 hours was just an estimate based on when I did. Going back to about 1993 I left Croydon airport estate at 12 noon on a Saturday and saw kick off at 3pm at Hillsbro not that you would do it now.

Out of curiosity I checked RAC Journey planner and that said up the M1 route 3hrs 59 mins. I wouldnt argue though as I havent done it for years.

RAC journey planner will assume you are actually moving. That's where your argument falls down.

Maybe if we hadn't of played a Tuesday away fixture we might of travelled up on Coach yesterday?
