I've just stumbled upon this site: http://homesoffootball.co.uk/ and if you simply type in 'Brighton' in the search bar you get some fantastic old pics. I've just found myself, around 10-years old, in a photo standing on my stool in the North East Terrace at The Goldstone. :)

"Stuart Roy Clarke, who has been photographing football fans and culture for 30 years, as seen in his book Homes of Football. Some of his best shots are now available to order as prints, with 2,500 pictures from 500 clubs at his website."

Used to be based in Bowness on Windermere, we visited his museum a couple of times back in the days when we played Carlisle. One time they even had a 2004 Skint shirt on a mannequin in the main entrance display.
