Sad news. Life of Brian is one of my favourite films of all time.

Jones was quality in that and other stuff for Monty Python.

Great name from comedy. A real individual (err, I'm not).

That's sad to hear, very funny man and great director too, going on the evidence.

Bugger, that makes me sad.

Michael Palin was on Adam Buxton's podcast the other day, if you haven't, give it a listen. Like a lot of us I suspect, AB was/is a big fan and listening him talk to Palin about the Life of Brian reminded me of how much of a nerd I was about it too. Watched the Holy Grail for the first time in many years too on the back of listening to that podcast.

Brighton / Hove actually
I am sure he will tackle it with humour. I don't know much about dementia other than the wide spectrum of severity and it affects people at a different rate.

I've often wondered what it would be like if I lost my memory and the pro to it would be that I could watch all my favourite films as if it was the first time I watched them. Just stick me in a room with Terminator or some space or nature documentary on repeat and I would be fine in between being wheeled about for fresh air and a wash down.

Dementia is evil enough without a 'severe' variant. My heart sunk when I read that.
