Looking to bring an elderly family member to the game on Saturday and they have a disabled parking badge. What are the best options for a short walk to the ground? The club seemed to advise that park and ride was the best option? At Mill Road, are there allocated disabled parking spots for easy access to the buses?

Thanks in advance

It's grim oop north
Bridge car park has blue bays near the entrance - easy to get away after game. Walk is a bit long though so we usually drop off at the stadium then one of us takes the car to the bridge to park up

Friend of mine uses the blue badge spaces at Mill Road on the occasions I can't give him a lift, says it's a bit of a drag, but works ok.

Depends on disability. Mithras House has blue badge parking right next to the bus stop. Worth noting that at the bus/coach park at the Amex there is a lift but you will need to ask directions from the many stewards at the P&R drop off as it's in the coach park. There are a few 'older generation' with zimmer frames who use the lift and get escorted to the front of the queue. The stewards do a good good.
