Albion manager Chris Hughton is expected to make numerous changes for the visit of Reading on Tuesday night, as the Seagulls look to secure their place in the EFL Cup fourth round.
Hughton will hand Sebastian Pocognoli his Albion debut at left-back, following his loan move from West Bromwich Albion, while Connor Goldson and Uwe Huenemeier are also in contention to feature at the Amex.
Rob Hunt is set to be involved with the first-team again, after making his league debut in the victory over Burton on Saturday.
Kazenga LuaLua (knee), Richie Towell (ankle) and Liam Rosenior (ankle) are all unavailable to face the Royals, as they continue to recover from long-term injuries.
Solly March continues to build up his fitness and is expected to feature for the under-23s again, before making a first-team return.
For Reading boss Jaap Stam, Gareth McCleary and Danny Williams will be unavailable for the third round cup tie, as the pair serve suspensions, which were picked up in their previous league game at Barnsley.
Stam will make a late check on the fitness of Joey van den Berg (hamstring), who missed Saturday’s trip to Oakwell and is a doubt for their short trip south.
