I'd like to visit North Korea just to see what it is really like (or at least as far as your official tour guide will let you see). You can go there with specialist tour agency's. Best not to ask too many difficult questions whilst there though!
One country I would not miss again from my travels is Saudi Arabia. Depressing place in so many ways.

Mexico is great. Just go to the nice bits. Bit like saying you wouldn't visit the UK because... Croydon.
For places I wouldn't go.... Dubai, Turkey, Egypt. Oh and Tunisia which I've been to previously. Don't care if they have nice bits, they are horrible places where huge numbers of people (and women in particular) are treated like shit. No thanks.
Really want to go and watch cricket in South Africa too but the same rules apply.

Can't think of anywhere else I'd not go if the opportunity arose to be honest.
Edit: Southern Spain is out as well. Northern Spain would be fine though.

One of the most fascinating places I've visited. Would go back tomorrow. Some of the poverty is truly awful mind.

Worried about Mexico cos of lawlessness, like the people in control aren't the good guys, though sure there are nice places and people. I used to work for a Tequila company and the difficulty of doing business in the country was horrendous, like the No 1 issue every board meeting...

Lots of nice and generally safe places to holiday there though.
Why? Great beaches and lifestyle on the coast. Mexico City is a vibrant, modern place. Generally Mexicans are very welcoming and friendly. The drug-gang related violence is unlikely to affect you as a visitor

Stunning country. Lovely people. Mental traffic in the big cities. Guaranteed to get the shits. [emoji90][emoji90] Always love visiting.
Fairly easy to stay safe (for example, in Rio just stay 1/2 blocks from the seafront and be careful after dark). Wonderful place. Sao Paulo however is a toilet. Avoid. The North (Salvador, Recife) is (apparently) full of gorgeous horny women. The interior is really beautiful.
My eldest is at Uni in Edinburgh and I have a big team of staff based there. I like it.
From a work perspective I have teams in all of above so visit fairly regularly. They all have their good points. Would happily go to any of them on holiday (and have).

Interesting question this,
Id say there are some such as Australia, UAE, Turkey which just don't interest me for a variety of reasons but can't think of any I'd never want to visit. I love traveling so always up for a new place to visit.

India is humanity. One of the best things as a human being you can do in travel is to spend time in India, by far the most wonderful country on the planet. Puts our little enclave into perspective.

USA is one for me. Why ? Hard to say. I've seen too much of it through media and there is so much attention focused that I don't think I would take much from it. Naturally I wouldn't want to visit places that are lawless. I don't know why folk list India. It's an amazing place.
