It's probably because the UN understands that if the Jews didn't have Israel they would have no home at all.

If we remember the Turkish Muslims invading north Cyprus it displaced thousands of Greek Cyporiots. What did the Greek Cypriots do? They built their lives elsewhere on the island and got on with it. Palistinian Muslims would rather blame their continued misery on others instead of building their own country to a prosperous level.

When we look at the Islamic map it covers the whole of the Middle East, North Africa and is of great size in Asia. Israel is probably less than 1% of the Islamic land mass so it is not completely unfair considering it is their ancestral home.

Well, The Roman Catholics, dont have a 'home land', neither do Protestants, Buddists etc etc.
It is a faith, not a nationality. Israel is the 'nationality.' with many of them speaking with American, English, and East European accents.
A nation born out of Israeli terrorists, killing British servicemen and local residents.

As King Saud said, give them Bavaria.

Islam considers the Temple Mount in Israel as their third most holy site with Mecca and Medina in Saudi preceding it. The Temple Mount the most holy site for Jews and Christians but the Jews actually built it.

Ultimately the land would either be Islamic or Jewish. If It was turned into an Islamic State would you argue against it as well? There aren’t three options on the table.

Let us not forget that historically Muhammad slaughtered thousands of Jews and enslaved thousands of others.

We can only go back so far. There is no historical evidence for Abraham or Moses, although if we are to believe the Moses story he was a blood thirsty genocidal maniac who killed hundreds of non virgin females.

I see the official claim goes to who built the Temple Mount, that to me is solid proof of commitment to the area. It’s a massive structure that took decades to construct and rebuild, with tens of thousands of workers. The only reason why Islam claims the site as holy, is because Muhammad dreamt of going on a night Journey on a flying donkey to heaven via temple Mount from Mecca.

As I said in another post, it would either be Islamic of Jewish.

It's been going on since the fall of the Ottoman Empire when Britain took it over. We instigated a mapping out Israel, and King Faisal I think, signed it away in return for securing Arab land. This is basically a struggle between two religions over a holy site and if Islam wasn't like it is, then probably there would be no Jewish state of Israel, just a country called Israel.

It's as if the Holocaust never happened. It was agreed after 1945, that the Jews would be given land to make a home and Jordan agreed. I'm not condoning any atrocities done in the name of Israel, but it isn't one sided. Of course, many Jewish people went there to help build a homeland, which is why there is such a mixture of nationalities.

A majority of them get on well together as shown by our own Hemed and Kayal. Politics gets in the way of ordinary people trying to live.

Yep kinda agree with you although Islamic or Jewish are not a race of people either of them.

They were given a home by the West on land appropriated from people who had no say in the matter. They've since chosen to invade other peoples land and take it as their own and stick 2 fingers up at the UN. A sort of rather more civilised IS.

Jordan offered to make the Trans Jordan into Palestine. Quite a few of the people who 'had no say' stayed on and lived peaceably. Others like the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem caused a lot of trouble and conflict over it.

This is partly Britain's fault anyway because The UN partitioned Palestine under "Resolution 181 or the partitioning act" as it was called into Arab and Jewish states which ultimately started the 1948 Arab-Israeli war. up to 1947 it had been part of colonial Britain and it was a British and American committee which drew up the plans.
