A nice bigging up of Dale, together with a reference to his professionalism, and an acknowledgement that he'd have liked to play in the PL. Very expertly done. A cruder way of putting the same message across would have been "Sorry, Dale. Stuff happens. Knuckle down now please, and let's see what we can achieve."

He's a class act.
