Shane Duffy leaving Rovers for Albion on a four-year deal
Ireland international Shane Duffy has joined Brighton & Hove Albion from fellow Championship club Blackburn Rovers.
The 24-year-old defender has signed a four-year contract with the south coast club, having moved from the North West for an undisclosed fee.
Born in County Derry, but a member of the Republic of Ireland squad which qualified for the Euro 2016 finals, Duffy has also played for Yeovil, Scunthorpe, Burnley and Everton.

Brighton boss Chris Hughton told the club's website: "I'm delighted that our perseverance has finally paid off and we've completed the signing of Shane. He's an excellent addition for us.
"He has a lot of experience for his age, having played in the Premier League, Championship, Europa League and international football for Ireland.*

"He's a very good defender, and alongside our existing options he now gives me four quality, senior options for the two central defensive positions."
Duffy joined his new teammates for training on Friday and is available for Saturday's game at Newcastle.
