Is there more business to be done for us in the transfer window?

The Dale Stephens story is still running, but as far as incoming I'm not sure what, if anything, Hughton thinks is essential to bag in the transfer window.

I'm still not convinced we have THE striker that will make our season any less tighter than it was last season. We seem to have enough who can create and feed chances, but I'd like to see the elusive Championship goals for fun striker that always alludes us.

We'll need to end up with a squad of 25 / 26 players.

- Bring in a new striker ( #10 ), which will take us up to 26.

- Refuse all bids for key players.

- Replace any of LuaLua, Elvis or Ince who go out on loan so that the squad stays at 25 minimum. Any replacements may include a fullback.

Dack in, nobody out.

Ince and Elvis out on loan.

Stephens back in the starting 11 and 3 wins on the bounce.

Happy days.

In fact pretty much this.

Which gives us a squad of 24 and space for another fullback ( Rico Henry ??? ).

... but, Chris has repeatedly gone on record saying he wants a striker / number 10!!

I imagine after Saturday the list of posters ready to berate me for saying 'only 3 first team strikers isn't enough for top 6' has got a little shorter.

I am a lttle doubtful about that as according to a poster in Turkey a deal with Trabanzpor (sp) fell through for medical reasons so we wouldnt pay money for him to fail a medial. I would hope a striker from somewhere and not just Bradley Dack.

Me too BG...

Hughton has said one in and Ince & Manu out on loan.
Given the way we seem to play the transfer game I wouldn't be surprised to see 2 or even 3 come in

Is it possible the club are saving money by holding the signings at the airport until we have enough to fill 1 taxi.

Providing we don't lose anyone then I only see someone lack Dack coming in.

And I would be thrilled if that's all that happens
