Even if our batsmen finally got it together, I'd be bloody gobsmacked to get promotion, after a such a dismal summer. And I'd have to say if that was the case, our cricketers would have been as lucky as our footballers were unlucky last season.

We have a game in hand on Essex. If we were to win that we would be 20 odd points behind them with 3 games to play. It is not over yet.

We've left it too late unfortunately.
It's gutting that this season is the one that they ridiculously decided to change it to 1 promoted side otherwise we could have been going up second and almost as enjoyably, replaced Hampshire coming down.

No Joyce or Jordan this week against Kent. Gutsy win at Cardiff on Friday, but batting looks very weak this season.

Might the ECB release Jordan? He hasn't played in the first 2 odi game and I doubt the bowlers will change after 2 wins which they had a big say in.
