Starting off with a Rodenbach limited Caractere Rouge barrel aged in oak cask. Very nice it is too.

Was given some bottles of Guldun Daark 10.5% belguim beer, never tried it or heard of it for that matter, but thought I'd better leave it for later or else I'll be asleep in the flower boarders by 7..

just been down the tiger in east dean (has nothing to do with imagining spitfires overhead) and they tried to tell me long man bitter was just like harveys. it's good, but was a weird way to try and punt it.

I've had a few of their beers. They're pretty good.

Hendricks and tonic with lime not cucumber. I know designer Gins are all the rage but I am very partial to Hendricks. Bombay Sapphire and Tanqueray are very over rated though imo

.75 liter of sour is too much. I'm counterbalancing this with some bitterness: Brewdog Jack Hammer...one of their finest.

Waitrose VSOP Armagnac, currently on offer at about £23 a bottle.

Helps you get into the mellow zone, very very fast.

I should add, preceded by Oakham Ales Citra ale, refreshing American style IPA, beautiful.

Prosecco, from Waitrose, whilst watching the Great British Bake Off.

Anyone for a game of Top Trumps, Middle Class edition?
