firefox help required...SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD _TOO_LONG

i use firefox for browsing and I am getting this error returned on one site only

SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG Ive tried a google search but I cant find an easy explanation of what it means or what to do.

Any ideas? As I say its one site only and its not an adult site..( before some wise guy comments)

I have not changed any settings on my machine so I am stumped.

Any ideas?

Works fine on explorer

But just tried it also won't work on my phone , so maybe a site error

Also had problems with NSC this morning contacting server / database

So have unplugged modem and gone to work

Judging by the fact that website looks like it was made in 1946 I'd suggest it's a problem with them and not you


Edit: I also had issues connecting to NSC this morning. So that's not you either!

Web sites don't have to be overloaded with movie clips/ flashing lights and links to make it good at what it does.

How old is your Firefox? The SSL cert etc are fine on that site.
