Here
I suspect the tonights attendance will break all previous records for the difference between pretendance and actual bums on seats thanks to our customer service orientated friends at Southern.

Watch other teams mock us....Not knowing the issues...

Sub 20k actual attendance has to be a high possibility rather than the 25-26k pretendance that'll be announced (...do they make attendance announcements for televised games?)

It's a real shame that the club still decided to hold the Amex anniversary celebration event tonight, despite the long standing SASTA dispute which has been known about for ages. IMO it would have been better to defer that until our first Saturday home game...everyone would have been understanding.

1 a fair number of fans will be on holiday
2 a lot will give up trying to attend c/o SASTA problems, or they can't get a bus,
3 some may struggle on a working weekday
4 some will, understandably, go for the easy option of Sky TV
5 those who manage to struggle to the Amex may not be able to get there early, as the event starts 30 minutes before KO.

To have a half empty stadium waving flags on the first home league game of the season from a club who just missed out on promotion to the top tier last season will look a bit naff on Sky, especially when we know from the first Doncaster game and the Sheff Weds playoff what an incredible atmosphere a full stadium creates.

Nearly every game will have an official attendance of at least 24/25K + this season as, according to new card letters, we have 23K+ ST holders (we had 19K in 2015/16) . Its also likely we will have c1K away attendance..Its reported to be 1200 for Forest.

Let's hope Sky make some attempt to explain the travel issues.... there will be lots of empty seats...

Adversely the away attendance may be quite good. Forest have paid for fans to travel down by coach apparantly.

Not Forest, but their sponsors (think it's 888bet or something like that). No chance Forest would pay for it! The sponsors are paying for coach travel to various midweek games I think.
