Govt Report/ Widespread voting fraud in some Muslim areas of the country.

The newpapers today are reporting that a government report has concluded there has been widespread voting fraud in various Muslim areas in the country, like Tower Hamlets in London where
Voters have either been intimated or voted more than once for a candidate that they have been asked to do. Report concludes councils and even the police have been aware of several instances but haven't taken action against it because of the culture of political correctness and fear of being labelled as islamphobic.

What do people think about this ? Should special extra security measures be put in place like edelible ink for Muslim voters, so they can't vote twice etc or would a person overseeing proceedings at the voting booth maybe sent by a govt body to ensure fair play is sufficient.

Is it fair to single out just Muslims or are the hard left also untrustworthy in this regard. The govt report only found strong evidence of election fraud within some Muslim communities though

Not sure if this post is serious or not....................We are all influenced and coerced. Some by media, some by parents, some by teachers when we are young, some by wives or husbands, fathers or mothers. That's a fact of life

Eventually we will think for ourselves if we choose to.

Once you go into a voting booth and no one is near you. If you were bullied into something you didn't want to do. You are potentially likely to vote against someone who bullied you into it because they are never ever going to know what you eventually did vote.

Anonymity, in my opinion should suffice .

Agreed, but if it is possible for people to be convinced to go to Syria and fight for Isis then I am sure people can be convinced to vote the way they are told. Also the article mentions fraud, where people vote in place of the genuine voter.

Whilst it is of course possible that once inside the voting area, you do have that choice, it is hardly as simple as that is it? You are applying middle class thinking here. A relatively uneducated and brainwashed person from a muslim country where democracy is not encouraged, is not likely to produce their own moment of rebellion, and this sounds rather suspiciously like an apologist's reaction. If a person can willingly be fitted with a suicide belt, then anything is likely.
As a general rule, we are not all coerced, as you claim. Normal interaction will produce differing views, and argument, and it is possible that we might be influenced, but that is not to say we are coerced, and certainly not in schools. But I strongly suspect that in traditional muslim homes , the element of coercion is far more prevalent.
