While we're all waiting with anticipation at which defender and striker we will get, thought this might pass the time.

For what it's worth my favourite is from 1985, Levi 501 launderette advert featuring Nick Kamen.

A Martini advert from the late 70's or early 80's with a girl on roller skates getting into a lift. Can't remember anything else about it other than she was stunning!

The guy who wrote the jingle got paid every time that was played. When he was asked to do it he played 4 notes on the piano and said to the smash people, this kind of thing maybe, and they said perfect! He protested that he was just giving them an example and he would work on it properly but they said no, that's fine.
